Came back again! Last time was good today was perfect. Came for a breakfast and I took a classic: ham, bacon, sausage, two eggs, toast, fruits and potatoes. And a coffee Good price! Will definitely come back again. If you show up before 8:30 I think there is a better price breakfast. But I am not in the hood so it’s ok to pay a little more after the morning rush. (Business is business. If you complain about the price, specially for a well priced menu, I will invite you to stay home. And do yourself a breakfast because 3 for 12 eggs should be ok for you) The waitress was pretty attentive and very nice!

The Celine Cafe was amazing! A chocolate lover's delight. Also the smoked meat sandwich melts in your mouth! It was great service, and great food, in a cute diner setting.

One of the best french toasts ive had in my life, the restaurant itself is welcoming and gives 80-90s retro style vibe. The food itself is not so bad and the staff is great

Good food! Lots of meat on the poutine which was yummy, I had the Poutine Nickels with the smoked meat--my first smoked meat experience--and it was good! Fiancee had a different poutine with bacon and mushrooms; both were tasty. Decor was cozy; coming from the US you can compare it to something like a Denny's or maybe a Johnny Rockets, got that retro diner vibe going. Best part of visiting Nickels was that our server was very friendly with us. Attentive enough without being overbearing and had a friendly conversation with us. Put up with our poor attempts at understanding French, and then kindly brought us an English menu. Made our experience pleasant. Thanks for making our meal pleasant, sir.

No trip to Montreal is complete without a visit to Nickels! The music, the decor, the ambiance and the vintage pictures and classic memorabilia from a time now gone, not to mention the wonderful mouthwatering food. The smoked meat cooked to perfection that melts in your mouth with flavor. Friendly staff. We walked around admiring the place while we waited for our food, the whole experience is one to remember. Merci pour les bons souvenirs!

Ordered an extra lean smoked meat sandwich with fries which came with a yummy, creamy coleslaw & pickle for take out. It was absolutely delicious.

The brunch here is one of my favourites--lots of classic options (including healthy ones!). The service is always super prompt and attentive. This place has a kitsch retro decor, which isn't to my taste, but I still love it because the ambience is warm, thoughtful, and friendly.

It has a retro atmosphere and 50’s vibe, the server was really nice, fast and friendly. Loved my food, it was very well prepared. Totally recommend this place.
